My boy is losing some feathers on his cheek, is this something to be concerned about?

A small patch in the same place i have mentioned in other posts some time ago about a wet cheek...he seems happy enough, but i just want to make sure?

Has he perhaps got a habit of rubbing his cheek on something?

I ask, because years ago, my young puppy developed a bald patch on the side of her nose and no one could figure out why. Then one day, I gave her an osobuco, (cut of a cow leg) as I regularly do and I noticed that in trying to get the marrow out of the bone, she was putting her nose on the inside. This made the sharp edge of the bone rub against the side of her nose, shaving the fur off. Since she got too big to fit her nose inside, the problem went away.

Only when preening himself as far as I can tell
