I'm surprised he isn't in the hospital. Sternum fractures due to impact, they always observe due the potential cardiac complications. Not to mention a broken jaw, I'm surprised he can talk at all. Severe spinal compression could potentially cause a decrease in height, but that would also be cause for hospital admission. Any way you look at it this boy either is or will be in the hospital soon, if he is half as bad as he said to you.

I've had some severe traumas in my life and understand they grump factor. Picking up a phone would be the last thing on ones mind.

How does he know he has those injuries if he hasn't seen a doctor? It seems odd that he was in a car accident that bad and didn't end up in a hospital.

Erm, how long have you been with him for him to have 4 accidents?

I hope he gets well and you get a chance to relax some.

He should go to the doctor's, but with those injuries he will eventually be in the hospital either way.

hey ya'll decided not to sleep, i can't, i talked to one of his friends since when i called to check up on him he decided he didn't want to talk, and his friends said he was on pain. meds so i guess he had some kind of treatment, his dad drove him home. He's had so many problems blindness, cracked ribs, nerve damage, that when he's messed up he knows what it is cause he's done it before. I called to check up on him, and got one big fat horrible response. You know one time we were hangin out n' he had like a seizer thing right in front of me, it was weired he couldn't even talk, then he kinda cracked his neck n' it went away. It's like he's dyin' right in front of me, and won't get help, i just wanna breakdown, seriously, i dunno what to do to help him anymore

Harsh reality is that either he wants help and is willing to help himself or he isn't. Nothing you can do or say will change a thing.

How do I put this politely? If he won't take care of himself, you can't do it for him. Sounds like he's pretty high maintenance emotionally. Try to remember it's not your fault, and you're not responsible for his healing or injuries.
