I wish I was a better photographer and had a better camera to show them in their best light.

Jax will be 11 months old tomorrow and Kane will be 11 weeks old on Tuesday.

Time to take out a second mortgage on the house to pay for their feed.

Beautiful dogs! i have looked in at your threads occasionally. Especially when you were impatiently waiting for Kane to be born!

They don't really eat that much do they? My Bullmastiffs don't eat that much only about4.5 cups a day each.

Hey for comparison with my new pup(trying to figure out how big she will be) do you know how much Kane weights?

Or what Jax wighed at 12 weeks?

Thanks and they are gorgeous!

We didn't get Jax until he was 13 weeks old. He was technically a rescue. When we took them to the vet a week ago, Saturday the 13th, Jax weighed 80.5 lbs. and Kane was 17.8 lbs.
Jax eats 5 cups of kibble a day, plus an egg a day, some salmon oil and a bit of yogurt every other day. There are days he eats very little though.
The vet told me to increase Kane's intake, because he's always hungry. He is more active perhaps because of having a big brother to play with. Kane eats three cups a day, a little yogurt and some salmon oil every couple of days.

It's very clear that Kane takes after their sire and Jax takes after his dam.

Thanks, I guess my mutt will be pretty large too! I also give her a duck egg most days, mixed in with her kibble!

Our 9 year old rescue shepherd gets 2 cups twice a day... he weights 80lbs, looks just like your oldest boy minus an ear (prior owner didn't take him to a vet and his ear rotted off due to deglect of an infection)

As comparison our border collie who weights about 70lbs and is wired for sound eats a touch more that 1 cup twice daily... depends on the breed and activity I guess)

Your baby (and isn't he sweet) is going to be BIG!

Yes Kane has a love of food, yet he's not fat. What is it mothers say about their big children? "He's just big boned" and he is. The vet says he's doing fine, so I try not to worry.
ETA: I also keep their sire in mind. He's an east german shepherd and weighs around 100 lbs.

It looks like Kane is going to be Sampson size.

Sampson was 120/140 pounds. It depended on how active he was during the winter. The most he ever weighed was 140ish during the winter. He loved the snow, but didn't like when it got below 0 which we had one year. That year he only went out to go to the bathroom, and RIGHT back in. I don't blame him, I didn't like it either.
