The fused toes could be a sign that things did not develop properly during incubation. There could be other issues that you can't see. "Failure to thrive" chicks often do not survive because of these developmental problems. Do what you can but be prepared to accept a sad ending.

If nature intended all chicks to survive, chickens wouldn't incubate so many eggs at a time.

I don't have high hopes for her, but I'll keep on trying. I also don't want to stress her out by pestering her too much. She didn't want much of the last round of pedialyte (I've gotten about 2.5 ml into her total) and when I put her back, she gimped around in a way that I've never see her do before. She didn't want any of the scrambled egg either.
