You should see if you could rig up some kind of a track under the mesh end that could hold a dishpan, roasting pan, or some kind of similar container to catch the excess water and slop (unless it will be outside over grass or gravel or something else easily cleaned). You could slide the pan in and out almost like a drawer on a desk.

I wont even be building this one lol. Gonna have our cabinet guy do it for me I think.

I changed it up so that I can use it for my indoor ducks after the rest are outside

What are the dimensions on this?
It looks like it would work really well, and we need something better than two huge rubbermaids and a heat lamp... (I cut a door between the two, and we use straw bedding)

Got 9 chicks in there for now, but we have a bunch of eggs in the incubator.

5 more ready to hatch after the 18 day candle two days ago (Jersey Giants those)

we have 20 Duck Eggs (9 Harlequin, 11 Cayuga) to be candled after dark tonight (about 12 or 1 in the morning)

and 23 more Giant Eggs...

It is a huge incubator, made from a cooler, a light, a thermostat, and a computer fan and heat sink.

I have designed it to be 4'x8'(outside dimensions) and the inside height is 18in. water station is 2'x2', 1'x1' nest box
