In the 3rd pic, I see Mama has dark spots on her bill. Is this something all Calls have or just yours? I have a girl, that I was told was Pekin and she has spots just like your girls. Or is this just a duck thing in general?

I was a little worried that they wouldn't all go back to the nest to sleep, but when I checked on them they were already in there snoozin with mama right on top!

What a big day for babies!

It is so different having a mama taking care of them compared to brooding them. For one, none of those other ducks even looked sideways at them. And there are 10 other ducks in that aviary, including 3 pretty big runners.

I love them!
