My broody finally gave up LOL

well poor Lacey Bear my broody Silver laced cochin has been sitting on some banty eggs - testing fertility for me - well after about a week I candle the eggs they show nothing - clear - but I did not have the heart to take them from her just yet - I was planning on moving her to a temp hoop coop and letting her have a few of the brooder babies to love - but DH said no ( he was afraid Lacey would hurt them ) well after sitting out there for about 3 weeks I think Lacey Bear finally realizes they will not hatch and she has given up LOL

yes it sounds likew she gave up on hatching any eggs.

well Lacey Bear is only just a year - so she has plenty of time to be a mommy - maybe someone else out there will go broody and - we will let them have a try at hatching - hopefully next time the eggs will be fertile.
