My broody has inconsiderate timing.

My frizzled bantam cochin had been absolutely refusing to go broody and would not sit on the eggs I gave her, so I went to the trouble of building an incubator. Several days later, the extreme temperature changes outside the incubator caused the temperature to spike to 110 degrees and fryed all the eggs I had collected (and it took me a while to collect them because the hen lays every other day). Of course, the next day, the frizzle goes broody, when she could have just hatched the eggs herself and saved me a lot of effort

Why does she have to do this to me?
