My broody Polish and her nest!

Just thought I'd post pics of my White-Crested Polish, who recently went broody, and her nest!

She settled in among the hostas growing alongside my barn. Tonight she'll be moved to a dedicated broody box, and we'll see how things go from there! I don't have any roosters, so her eggs aren't fertile, but I have some hatching eggs coming in the mail this week, so her timing could not be better!

Holy cow... She was saving those up for a while! I had a WCBlack polish girl who was 1/2 broody

She would sit on the eggs when my actual broody would get off to stretch her legs! You're lucky, polish girls aren't known for sitting
