my brother lost his dog tonight (sad)

this dog had to be put down tonight. he had cancer. and was doing bad till the end. the dog is my dog's son. its such an emotional time of sadness. he was 12 years old and lived a nice loving life. still sad, because my brother lives outside of seattle wa. and i am in ct.
i havent seen the dog in a few years, and yet i continue crying.

Aww, So sorry, I know that feeling, Lost my amazing boy to a tumor the day after Christmas, I still cry over him and it's been 5 years! But he was in pain, and I knew it was best to let him go.

now my dog sammie, who will be 14 years old. is the last of the shelites in our family. my mother had the mom who passed away about 3 years ago due to cancer. my parents breed them. her dog suzie had a small litter of 2 puppies. she (my mother kept one and my brother got the other one). then i took the father. so now i give big kisses and love to the last one left.

crying over a dog is totally okay..especially one that you know so much about and was important to someone that is important to you!

put my dog down last year and I bawled...

Oh my he looks like he was such a sweetheart. I have a rotti mixed that has been with me since he was a 4 month old pup. He took care of me when I was very, very sick with panic attacks. He is getting older now, and has a very hard time walking due to hip dysplasia and arthritis. I feel for you, and I know it's going to kill me when its his time.
