I'm plumb tickled with my geese. First I've ever had. I'm surprised at how friendly they are. The love to be picked up and petted. I've been fooling with them all day. My daughter just got in from school and they seem a little perplexed when she picks them up. When I take them they settle down. I'm sure they will get used to her and the wife soon enough.

I ordered 1 male and 2 females. I'm guessing the male has a stripe down the back of its neck since one does and the other two don't. If so, the male is the one on the bottom left of the picture. I think I will name them Winkin', Blinkin', and Nod. (Surely nobody ever used those names before.

Thanks, Buffbeauty. I sure appreciate posting the picture for me.

The wife got in from work this evening and was smitten by them. She didn't like the idea of the names I picked out though. Guess we'll have to name them something silly.

I'm still going to call them Winkin', Blinkin', and Nod when she isn't home though.

CONGRATULATIONS

3 gorgeous little goslings and well worth the wait. I do love Africans - so large and stately

Lovely picture and clearly you're spoiling them

Hmmm . . . not sure on the first 2 names so your wife could well be right

Love the name 'Nod'

You could always go for a vote or to keep the harmony in your home then you, your wife and your daughter should name one each

Well, Pete, I think you might be right about the names. But don't tell the wife I said that.
