It is white as well as the egg on the other end. It is probably the lighting that made it look tinted. The egg on the other end is a Blue Andalusian, they lay white eggs also but for your viewing enjoyment here is Brownie, my brown Leghorn. This was Sept 17th since then her comb has flopped over.

Okay, thanks. She's really a brown leghorn, the lighting was just very poor I guess cause I couldn't figure how a leghorn laid a tannish egg! Congrats.
