Whats up with the hen in the second picture?? It looks like it is missing a lot of feathers. Molting??

Looks to me like the wing took it's Frizzles and makes it just look that way.

It not a hen it a roo it what they call a double dose frizzle it mom & dad were frizzle he came from Ideal poulty. I was worred about him and the cold weather but he does just fine I keep a light in the coop at night and he the first one under it .I guess he should be culled but it not his falt he can run around the pin with the rest of them they dont mind. DK

Oh, I am so paranoid of molting. My chickens have not molted yet. I am petrified, I do not like seeing raw chicken running around.

They always molt in the the fall.The frizzle have not molted yet if he lost many more feather he would be neked. DK
