I have been MIA from this forum for a long time now - mostly because I'm tending to my cat who just diagnosed with lymphoma.
But my poor Casino has been dealing with internal laying since last june. I've give her several rounds of Lupron to keep her going but then the shots double in price to $300 for one round. I last gave her one at the end of february but she is still trying to nest. So I took her in yesterday to get her drained hoping that would help her feel better but when the vet looked inside using ultrasound he saw that there wasn't fluid but only the gelatinous material. He had tried using the needle but nothing came out. So he basically said there was nothing else I could do for her. He didn't think any more Lupron would help either.
She is still active and eating for now but always wanting to nest cause I guess she feels that pressure. I'm just wondering if there's anything else in the world I can do to help her? I know time is limited now but is there anything? supplements to help her feel better?
Do you think more Lupron would at least buy her some more time?

So not even more Lupron would help her? I just thought it theoretically shuts down her system so that she at least would not create even more yolk/etc in her abdomen temporarily?
