I was on the front porch and heard it all. Poor kitty was just crying and crying. It must have terrified him! I scooped him up and ran for the house. His nose was bloody and one eye was dilated. Makes me think he got twacked in the head. Other than that and a little road rash he seems okay. The vet thinks he has a bit of a concussion and that he'll be fine. I'm less sure. At the moment he is curled up in my lap napping. His eyes are back to normal looking and there is no blood. He's walking normal and breathing normal. He hasn't tried to eat or drink anything. He's acting just like he always does at night. I'm a basketcase.

I guess I'll just watch him tonight and pray for the best. I hesitated to let the cats play outside for just this reason. They just love playing out there so much. I can't win this game...

I am so sorry to hear that, that makes me real mad when ppl don't respect animals, especially that I am a cat lover, I can't stand it when someone hit cats and run,I hope she is ok and recover.

Sorry to hear that, but cats are god's little terminators, or energizer bunnies depending on how you want to look at it! Hope he is well soon!

He is currently trying to sneak over on top of my laptop keyboard. That's totally normal.

Thanks for the support. He's such a sweetie pie. He started as a barn cat and then worked his way into the house. He is now firmly a lap cat.
This is Fagin.

It's going to be a long night. Pray that he was just nicked and not hit hard.

My Aunt's sister in law (lol) and family
Lives in town, and have lots of cats, and some elderly that are too slow to protect themselves or run from danger.
She had a local contractor build her the coooolest thing on the side of her house.
He build a framed in wired run ----think like off a chicken coop, but with branches, ramps and 2x4's going across the length ((3 wide-for the cats to walk and nap on))---just on the side of their house. He also took a cat-door and a piece of plywood and put the cat door in the window, usuing the wood to frame in in the gapped open window, with a ledge inside, so that they could go in and out, but still be enclosed..
Its reallllllly cooooolllll!!!
