Thought I would share a little story about Golden Comets but I don't know if it is true yet... About 2 months ago another chicken owner showed me the eggs he was getting from his golden comets. These things were huge! No way could you fit them in a standard egg carton. He said that he had heard from a Amish lady that the Golden Comets will lay especially large eggs, he said after about 3 months of laying they would be that big. So guess what??? I now have 4 golden comet.
