Here is Ginny, I rescued her back 1sr part of January, She was being bullied by her other coop mates. She was the only one of five red stars left. Her leg was hurt, her comb was awful, and she was always by herself. Well a couple of times before I brought her home, i would get her and rock her in the rocking chair, she would fall asleep and purr. I couldn't not take her home...she is beautiful and healed up beautiful. She follows me everywhere and talks to me! Can't you tell I'm in love!!? Here are our Toddlers as we call them...2 buffs, Lucy and Sally, 2 Rocks, Lily and Penny They are 6 weeks, and growing like weeds...full of personality

And the babies...Miss Goldie and Miss Minnie are about a week and a half old..almost 2, great personalities already! Red star and black star

I had a chicken like that. When she was young a kid stepped on her and since then she seemed to be mentally slow. The other chickens didn't want anything to do with her, they weren't mean just never wanted to be around her. She was sooo friendly and always loved me more than everyone else. Last year she was sadly eaten by a hawk.

Ginny has really come out of her shell...no pun intended. I keep an eagle eye on her...literally. we have 2 pair of Bald Eagles that nest on our lake. And since I am a very hypervigilant person anyway, i am like that with her. Sometimes it exhausting

Ok well Ginny is about tobget annoyed with me again. Lol...i pick up 2 barred rocks, since I just lost my 2, and 2 delawares...and still have 2- 3 week old sex links...she is still dealing with discipline the Orpington's...but they are good. Ginny is just spoiled
