It's the ugliest bird on the planet. I think it's a black australorp or so I was told.
It's scrawny and hairless. Been that way since I had it. Ears fine. Acts fine. No one is pecking on it that I've noticed. I rolled it in sevin dust thinking it was mites but it's still hairless.. Maybe 4 weeks old?
Some chicks of certain breeds can be slower to feather. You can see feather shafts coming in from your pictures. Try picking up that chick and feeding it some soft scrambled egg, or give the whole group some, but make sure he gets some. The extra protein may help. I'll bet he gets all feathered in around 6-7 weeks.
