My chick is choking. What to do?

Check her crop just to be sure. If it's very hard like a golfball, it could be impacted. Or if it's really big and mushy and she smells like vinegar, it could be sour and she could be choking on liquid when she puts her head down.
So what do we do if it is sour? She has a big crop.
 
It could just be full from eating. Don't give her any more food or water today. Check the crop first thing tomorrow morning. It should be empty. If it is still big and soft, read and follow the directions in this article. I saved my hen with this advice.
