My chick is dying :( Is there anything I can do? Video added.

Does it have a heat lamp? or a heating pad bent into a cave? it could be cold.
I was regularly boiling water and put it in a bottle, then cover it with cloth and put that into his box. However, he is died :(

I wonder if it is caused because of falling. He felt down today. I didn't try to hold him because I thought he has to learn not to fall. He was constantly drop himself down places like tables, my hand etc... I thought a little bit pain can make him learn his lesson.

Did I caused that? I feel sorry :(

He could have died due to internal injuries. Chicks are very fragile when really young, so it's best to keep away from super high places. Chicks do bounce alittle, but not enough to save them from a really high fall.

Keep them on the floor when playing with them, or in the brooder.

A heat lamp, or heating plate would also be a better heat source for the chick.

Damn :( I thought if he could learn not to fall younger, it could be better since more he gets heavier, more he takes damage from falling.

I feel so sorry :( Thank you for your answer.

They generally wont fall after 2 weeks, they will have their wings, and can soften their fall by flapping

How warm is your water? When I used glass jars diring an emergency, the water had to be nearly boiling, and i needed several jars, each wrapped in a towel. if I didn’t do that, they wouldn’t have provided enough environmental heat. new born chicks need 95F or 35C to eat and grow properly.

Once they begin to fledge, between 2-3 weeks of age, they'll begin to explore higher places. More so when they get to 4-5 weeks of age.

You're welcome. We're all here to help each other.

Wondered about the purple myself and you need a heat plate or a warming pad with no shutoff .. make a tent
