My chick is laying on her back help

My 5day old easter egger chick was laying on her back feet up when I checked on them. I went to grab her and bam she jumped up and did normal chick stuff. Ten minutes later she does same thing. I've seen them fall asleep and tumble around once in awhile. Is she ok? She has no visible injury by the way.

I would worry more about if she can get up by herself. I did just have 2 chicks that kept getting pushed over on their backs. I had to separate one for a while until I could trust her not to fall on her back and stay there.

Is it dangerous.if she stays upside down for.too long?

Yes. First off, their lungs are on the top side of the bird, and laying upside down can put pressure on them. Or the other birds will start to pick on her.

She is 100% back to normal. Thank you for the advice
