My chick stopped using her legs

Thank you! I made her a chair but she's not happy to stay there. She pulls her legs under herself. How long would be good for her to stay in the sling?

I'm wondering after reading some posts...is she supposed to touch the floor with her legs or not. One post I read said not but in the pictures I see all chicks touch the floor. Lavender comes out of the sling if she does so I'm not sure how to use the sling. Put it higher or lower for her to be able to get to the floor?
