My chick won't open her eyes!

Hello, I bought 61 chicks almost 3 months ago and I received 60 alive yesterday :) problem is I noticed one of my Speckled Sussex pullets was smaller in size than the others and won't open her eyes. Is this bc she's only 2 days old or bc she's blind? She mostly stays in one spot, she'll only drink when I dip her beak in the water, I'm really hoping she finds where the food is.

Does anyone have any ideas about her blindness? And if she is blind does anyone have any ideas how to raise her?

I only raise chickens for eggs and I really wasn't expecting to get a pet out of this batch but I don't believe in culling either.

Check if she can open her eyes. It's possible they may just be gunked up. I've had this happen with a chicks once and we had to clean her eyes up every day with a wet Q-tip for about 2 weeks before the problem resolved itself. If she really is blind, you are going to have a big commitment raising her, but it can be done. Here is one member's experience with raising a blind chicken:

Best of luck!
