Hi everyone, I'm newer to raising chickens, so I'm overreactive sometimes but I should be, right ... 🥰 Anyway I'm not sure what's going on with my girl. If you can see her eye is not well. There's no rooster to have done this to her if she's injured.. I'm not sure about other bullying and I'm trying to rule out everything else. I don't know what to do at this point and as a lot of us are in a place where we can't afford a vet. Any help is such a blessing! Fowlpox? Disease? Injury? Thank again. 🫤 She's in the corner of my bedroom after washing her to comfort her ... Lord, I never saw my life this way 😋 THE FIRST PIC IS THE GOOD EYE #FoxytheHen

Her eye may have been pecked and injured. She could have a respiratory disease with conjunctivitis or pinkeye. I would flush her eye twice a day and apply a dot of either Terramycin eye ointment, plain Neosporin triple antibiotic ointment , or Vetericyn eye gel. You can get Terramycin from jedds.com if your feed store does not have or requires a vet prescription. Neosporin works in the meantime. If she has mucus from her beak, swollen eyelid, bubbles or foam in her eye, gasping, or crackles/rales when breathing, I would use an antibiotic such as Tylosin or Tiagard in her water. Jedds.com and others online have the Tylosin.
