My Chicken Barn and run are finally, mostly, finished. :) My awesome hubby built this with no plans to follow, just pictures I found online that I liked. I think he did such an awesome job!!!
We built the nesting boxes and "poop board" from barn wood I saved when we tore down our old barn. I still have some finishing touches I want to do, and some landscaping, but all in good time.
I am Soooo Happy with how it all turned out

Hmmmm ..... I dont see all of my pictures, only one. Can you see them all?

The first time I clicked on the thread there was just the nest boxes picture. This time there's two - the outside shot & the nest boxes. How many are there supposed to be?

The outside shot is just gorgeous. Makes me VERY nostalgic for Oregon! Both my mom and I have lived there (not at the same time, but both of us in Portland) and we both loved it. Talking about moving back, in fact! I'm going to send her that outside shot if you don't mind - she would LOVE it. She's planning for retirement, so the idea is to move back up there in five or six years (I'm not attached to TX, so I'd follow her because we're very close). I can see her putting that pic on her fridge for motivation, lol!

Beautiful job - the coop, the run, AND the garden!

I see three pics. Your hubby did a wonderful job! It looks so light and airy; how large is it and how many chickens do you have? We are in the process of building a coop from a shed, so I'm looking closely at what everyone else is doing!

I dont know why they didn't all load.... im on my tablet so sometimes things are wonky. Lol thank you for the compliments, and sure you can share :). Oregon is beautiful :) we live near the central coast. About 3 hours sw of Portland.

Thank you :) The barn itself is 6x8'. Not sure of the height for sure....12' maybe...... I have 8 chickens, two of which turned out to be Roos. One is a buff Orpington and one is a little Buff Banty :) they are about 4 months now.
