Hey Y’all
My 9 week old GLW just, I think, broke his leg in a live trap. We had had it set up to catch rats which are a real problem at our house and they were getting into their feed but I forgot to take it down this morning. He was following another chicken in to it and got his leg stuck. He can stand on it but he doesn’t like to. It looks a little swollen and there’s a very small amount of blood on his foot. He can hobble around, and i’ve Moved him inside so he dosen’t try to follow the other chickens around the yard. I gave him some food and am getting him water now. He is eating. He’s obviously uncomfortable, and I just don’t know what to do. I can send a pic is y’all need it. Do y’all have any advice that dosen’t require the vet.
