my chicken burned his comb

i was looking at my rooster Rudy today and notised that he had black stuff all over his comb os i picked him up to see that it was burnt black there is still red on it but it was mostly charred black, even his beak had burnt. is there anything i can do to make him more comfortable or do i let nature take is corse. i love him so much and i hate to see anything bad happen to him

you could let nature take it's course or to help it heal you could rub "Rooster booster" on its comb and separate it from others
 
Is it sunburn or did he stick his head in a fire? If it's sunburn it'll be ok in a couple of days. Either way you can put some Neosporin on it to help prevent it from getting infected.

im not sure he's flips a lid when i pick him up so i cant hold him for long we think it may be chemical burn from some mop water that contained cleaners
 
Hope he didn't drink any of it. Chicken combs can withstand a lot of abuse & damage without causing any ill effects to the chicken. I'm sure he'll get well soon. If not, then write back.
