I'm updating with pics here on the 1st post so that the pictures can all be in order.
My DH, my children, and I have worked hard the past two days trying to finish the outside of my coop! I can't wait to see it done!!! Until that day comes, here's more pictures of what we do have done.
The spot where the coop will be.

Getting excited at this point!
The walls are going up and boy do we have lots of helpers!!!
The roof is being framed.
Boy we got a lot done today!
DH and DS adding an overhang.
DS's and friends helping put the plywood on the roof.
The black paper is on and ready for the shingles.
The walls are getting enclosed!
We have doors on!
Gypsy, our dachshund, trying out the chicken door.
My DH putting his "cracked egg" trim up! Nice edition, if you ask me!
My DH giving me lessons on how to put the shingles on.
I'm putting up the shingles!
A close up of the creative "cracked egg" trim my DH created for my chicken chalet! (I love having a creative DH!
)
The shingles and front siding is on!!!
Some happy residents!
The sides are finished and more trim has been added! Time to add more!!!
I will add more as we finish it up!
Thanks for looking!
UPDATE 10/9 to add pictures of the run! We are FINALLY getting it up! WOOT! I have more improvements that will be done, but this is what we have done so far.

Backside of the run
The door is finished!

The coops and the run
I would still like to pour concrete around the run to finish predator proofing, so we still have a little bit left to do. But for now, here it is!
Here are some new pics of the inside of my coop, as requested. It isn't finished the way I want it yet, but it is how it is for now. The roosts are temporary and hopefully I will be able to build the permanent ones before long. I've thought and thought about how I want them and I think I know what I want now. I am also going to be adding more nesting boxes, as my hens all want to lay around the same time now and get impatient while waiting.
I know! Typical woman behavior!
