Plywood on top of the wire floor for sure. Be sure to paint the wood before putting it in. Chicken poop on bare wood is extremely difficult to clean, even with bedding on top.

If you have enough perch length to accommodate 10-12"/bird then no additional perches are needed.

tip you should put chicken wire around the fence cause baby chicks can get through the holes of the fence. I'm 14 i love chickens i take care of them myself i buy there stuff and clean all of there messes they lay green eggs so none of my family eats them besides me, if u have a rooster u will start to see a large comb grow first then any ur chicks. sence u have seven chicks u should get 3 to 8 eggs a day so i would start saving egg cartons.
