My chicken crowed today is she a he?

Older hens do sometimes crow (really!), so if your chicken is young and crowing I'd say "Boy"

We had the same thing happen to us. I kept holding out hoping she was a crowing hen, but he started getting his saddle feathers and we knew for sure. Also, he had gotten much better at his crowing and did it all the time.

I have at least two HENS that crow. Thought I was nuts the first time, I was watching them when they did it the next time. One of them had just finished brooding.
