My chicken died I need to know why please help

Then I'm sure she did not directly freeze to death. Mature chickens tend to be quite comfortable in those temperatures, at least when they are healthy.

Sorry I don't know what did cause her death, just that one thing didn't :(

Sorry for your loss. Some will lose hens as they come into laying age, and that might be due to a heart problems, or other organ failure. It doesn’t happen often, but it happens. Most states have poultry vets who will do a necropsy on a body if you keep it cold, but not frozen, and take it in. Here is a list of those vet labs if you should need them in the future:

thank you we have done more research and think the egg was to large, and she died from being egg-bound
