my chicken died

I have three hens and one had been brooding a lot. I had to keep moving her off the eggs. Today when I went outside this afternoon she was dead, Any thoughts on what could of happen?

How long had she been broody? What was her age? I take it the eggs weren't fertile?

she probally died of heat stroke , so sorry

If she didn't get off her nest she probally didn't drink

I'd say its the heat. It's been around 100 degrees here for the past week or more. I've lost 4 so far. I lost another yesterday, even with my attempts to keep them cool and hydrated. This heat is crazy.
