My chicken "fluffy" :)

Heres my babe. I got her three years ago from a farm while me and my mother stopped to get chicks. The man didnt have any chicks but when I saw fluffy, home she came! Isn't she a babe?

..no not breeding her..shes just for companionship and really not looking to raise wee little ones hehe...as far as the greenery goes..those are weeds I used to get every year and no matter what you did they would sprout up everywhere..glad I dont have to deal with em anymore!

Thanks for the comment! Yeah she is alone and I love her to death..but I am going to get her a few new friends now that I have moved and can actually have a couple chickens where I live. In my old state you are not allowed to keep poultry because of zoning laws and such but didnt stop me from bringing this lady home! She was living in horrible conditions and was infested with lice and had a sore eye. The guy was selling what he claimed were "chicks" and in actuality I think he just used that as a come on to get people there cuz he was trying to get rid of all his birds, as I found it odd that he was selling everything he had. Well after a good bathing and delousing, some healthy food and some love she really turned around. She isnt wild anymore, she knows her name and she sits in my lap..I really do believe she loves me and knows that I saved her.
