My chicken got bit by my dog what can i do to keep it alive at home!

My dog has been nibbing on my chicken and i just found out about it how can i treat it (ive already put Water on the wound so it gets cleaner but i dont know what else to do)! And no i didnt move my chicken it just was on my front porch so what do i do while its alive!

I’m sorry but that wound looks horrendous and she’s probably suffering; it may be eat to humanely put her down and end her pain. I’m so sorry this has happened.

Oh OK well this is sad but do you think thier is any way i can train my dog to not bite my chicken becouse i dont want it to happen again.

I agree that injury is far too significant to try to save the bird. Obedience training for the dog, never allowing the dog alone with the chickens, electric fencing around the pen.

Oh thanks i would try that it just that i dont have a electric fence around the coup would that still work without a electric fence around the coup
