You can get mineral oil at Walmart in the pharmacy section. I would try Goo Gone.

I would not use goo gone or any of the highly volitile solvents. Certainly they would likely work, but pretty toxic.
Actually the orange oil contains limonene which is the main solvent in the orange scented products.I believe the orange is just a(n ineffective) masking odor.
Vegetable oil works well; I used this once to get a wren out of a glue trap someone brought to me and was able to save a lot of its feathers. You can also try dawn diluted in water and gently try to massage the feathers clean - dawn is what they use for birds affected by oil spills.
