I'm not allowed to do anything around the farm without "supervision." I have three geese that insist on checking out everything I do.

I also have a shoulder chicken. Cinnamon is happiest riding on my shoulder. You gotta love birds!

Lulu, my lame runt sometimes house chicken talks to me all the time. My DH says is sounds like we have conversations. I talk to her and she answers back. This can go on for a long time. She doesn't do this with anyone else. If she's in the house and I'm working in the kitchen, she has to yak at me to remind me that she needs to test the food.

One of my young blue Orps likes to ride on my boots when I walk. She's so silly. Every morning when I open that coop all the birds fall out like they were piled up against the door. She always manages to get on my feet before I even get inside
