Pictures can really help. White dots or chalky material on combs can be a fungal infection (favus) which may be treated with miconazole or clotrimazole cream. My chicken has diarrhea, a flopped over comb that has tiny white spots, is lethargic, and eating very little. What could be wrong???
Thanks! Could this fugal infection cause her diarrhea! Runny white, some yellowing.Pictures can really help. White dots or chalky material on combs can be a fungal infection (favus) which may be treated with miconazole or clotrimazole cream.
Thank you. I mixed up some homemade electrolytes and gave her some with a dropper. Then I realized that Rooster Booster has the same thing. But I don’t know how to make a small concentrated batch to feed her with a dropper, do you? I had been putting this in their waterer until they stopped laying, and then switched to apple cider vinegar w/ the mother. Could this fungus cause her diarrhea?oh my, I hope she is able to recover
Pictures/videos could help determine what is wrong. Give her some electrolytes to buy her some times.
could be fowl pocks or a fungal infection.
I think @Wyorp Rock or @Eggcessive might know more than me
Colorado. It’s been in the 20s at night. She’s 1.5 yrs old. She is the only one still popping out an egg every few days. But none over the past four. She has never molted. She is however missing feathers on her underside. I’ve sent pics and other info but I don’t see them on the web site under your name. Thx!Pictures can really help.
