Hi , My chickens live in my backyard and recently we have notice there has been a lot of rats .we try to get rid of the rats buy using Rat Poison. Suddenly I have started to realise that the rats are increasing. But today when I went out to check my chickens I noticed one of my chicken's peaking a dead rat. when I saw this I quickly disposed of the dead rat .Then I started to wonder is my chicken carrying a disease.

Will my chickens be ok ?
If there is a disease what can I do to prevent the other chickens getting the disease?
What do I do if my chickens did catch the disease?

If there are any solutions that guys have I will be more than happy to hear them ..
Thank you

Well, I sincerely doubt the chicken caught a disease, but As you poisoned the rats hopefully the chicken didn't eat much of the poisoned rat or it could die of that.
