My chicken is 6 months old and I don’t know whether it’s a hen or rooster?

He also has a male specific pattern.
I just caught him/her early this morning, trying to fight one of my other hens like a rooster. I found my poor girl Zora, squatting in the tall grass with him/her beside her. Picking at her face, now I’m doctoring her wounds, and putting Neosporin on her comb and waddles. They’re both all wet from the morning dew

I know a few good chicken soup recipes..

An aggressive rooster attacking hens is a bad rooster.

That is a rooster, just not a dominant so he may not crow but will mate nonetheless.

Please keep in mind that he is young and his hormones are raging and it sounds like maybe a lot of competition from other roosters. Consider getting rid of extra cockerels, it will be better for your flock in the long run.

No thanks he’s a sweetheart, besides, that’s only happened one time. Well, that sucks. I already been calling him a girl’s name for months I mean, I still haven’t heard him crow yet so I was almost positive. It was a girl.

So I have this chicken and I can’t tell if it’s a boy or girl? He/she has 4 other siblings 2 boys and 2 girls. The 2 boys started crowing by 4-6 months and the girls just started laying eggs by the end of this month. But this one is a mystery to me! He/she hasn’t crowed yet, but he/she hasn’t laid eggs yet either. Sometimes it acts like a girl and other times it acts like a boy. I have noticed he/she will chase the other hens around in the yard, and sometimes will try to mount them but not her own siblings (the girls), so that makes me think he’s a rooster… but yet he/she hasn’t fought with any other roosters either like his/her two older brothers that are constantly at each other‘s throat fighting and hasn’t tried to fight with any other roosters in the yard, so that makes me think she’s a girl 🤨🤔 if anybody can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated! I’ll link a picture of him/her down below. He/she has plumage like a girl, but looks like some spurs might be coming through too?
Got a rooster tail for sure
