Help.
My 2-week-old golden penciled hamburg was listless and sleeping standing up for 24 hours or so. She also didn't grow at the same rate as her flock. She was not drinking unless I spoon-fed her. She died 48 hrs later.
All my chickens were vaccinated from Coccidiosis and Marek's.
I read that I should treat the flock with corid (3/4 tsp per one gallon of water) for five days. They are all seem very healthy, happy, and growing well.
Now, my other small breed baby chick is showing the same symptom. She still eats out of my hand when I give her treats. However, she seems to grow much more slowly than the rest.
Her poo seems to be normal... no red dropping...
What should I do before it is too late?
I separate the bigger breed baby chicks from the smaller ones.
btw: the photos were captured when they were few days old.
