I have a sick chicken that's rapidly losing weight and not eating anything. She has been broody for 4-5 month. I have tried so many things to break her broodiness. She is my pet chicken. I also have another chicken and she is not broody. That chicken is ok but from some days my broody chicken is not eating anything normally except the thing that is a favorite food of her.I check them if they have worms or not but I didn't get any sign of worms in their poop. I also give them APPLE CIDER VINEGARand also give them garlic but my broody chicken is not eating these things easily. I need to force her to eat. Most important thing is she is continuously eating her and my another chicken's poop.

Hi @tasnim :frow Welcome To BYC

What have you tried so far to break her broodiness?

Place her in a wire cage or kennel, preferably off the ground with no bedding so air can circulate around her. Hopefully this will break her.

Going 4-5months being broody, she has most likely not taken care of herself at all. Check her over for external parasites (lice/mites) and treat her if you see any.
Get her drinking - offer poultry vitamins in her water if you have them. Once she is drinking, then give her feed. See if she will eat her normal feed along with some chopped egg, tuna or meat. You can also try giving her food wet if she won't eat it dry.

Also check her crop to make sure it's emptying overnight. Having source of poultry grit (crushed granite) available free choice would be a good idea as well.

She is not actually full broody. She is not sitting all the time in the day but she is acting like broody. Her crop is fully clean.

She sits on our bed when we went to another room she comes with us and sit there and always peck the other one and also peck us. It's right that she is not taking care of herself but I am always taking care her and I look after her.
her age is 1 or two years. She is laying eggs 3 times after coming to our home but her eggs shell was not perfect. I TRY TO BREAK HER BROODINESS by giving her bath, run her. I tried everything except this process "Place her in a wire cage". Because my parents don't like my chickens and it's very tough to buy a wire cage for her. but I love my chicken and I don't want to lose them.

I am living in a country where there are fewer facilities for taking care of chicken. Please give me some homemade remedies that can help my chicken.Where can I get poultry vitamins?

Does she have access to outdoors or a garden area? She might enjoy going outside for some sunshine and a dust bath.

What do you feed her? You can give her some chopped egg, fish or a little meat to help boost her protein. A small amount of leafy green vegetables and little bit of fruit are a good source of vitamins. You can also give infant or children vitamins if you don't have poultry vitamins available - look for Poly Vi Sol no iron - give her about 3drops a day.
Since her eggs are not normal, she may need calcium - you can give her crushed oyster shell, egg shells or supplement her diet with 1/2tablet of calcium like Caltrate every other day.
