My chicken is straining to poop

Hey Guys!

So I was watching my chicken this morning and she was standing there in a squat position straining to poo. She is passing some dry poo and also some runny dark brown poo. What can I do for her to help her pass a decent poop?

What exactly do you feed her and how old is she?

She is just over a year old. She is recovering from being unwell with a upper resp tract infection or virus which she had antibiotics for. She has been having layer grain mix, grass, yogurt, fruit, i have also noticed she has been eating feathers off the ground, have given a little cat food biscuits a few days ago.
