My chicken is walking funny, is this serious?

Thank you very much!
The sick chicken is a bluebell and I feed my flock mainly layers pellets, occasionally corn as a treat, various vegetable scraps (mostly carrots as they are supposed to help with worming) and at the moment also some other worming food.
Unfortunately no human foods will get rid of worms, that is a myth.
If you have worms you will need to treat with a real worm medicine.

G’Day from down under poule101 :frow Welcome!

I too hope that your girl is much improved today.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

Personally, I have found the Topic of the Week articles a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group.

Thank you for posting this..... We have a Rhoad Island Red hen that is doing the same thing, but she was also being bullied by the other hens. We removed her from the flock and she is now in a dog cage waiting out the molt process. She is walking like she is drunk when we let her out to roam and she isn't laying, but she is eating and pooping and loves it when we let her out to roam and dirt bathe.
We were wondering if anyone else had this problem and we were worried. Thanks for taking the time to share everyone!
