Hello, I'm really concerned for my chicken, she's 3 months old and out of no where after giving her a bath one of her legs just gave out and she is paralyzed in it. I've been digging around and been finding alot of people saying it's mareks disease.. but I also found other things.. does Marek's disease just happen out of no where automatically or is there a process? She eats fine and is alert, she also still tries to be enrrgenerand move around but can't stand or more her one leg so she uses her wings to move around or balance.. is it that disease or something else?

It could be Marek's disease, yes (sadly Marek's is very common), but it can also be other things. Without a lot more information and guessing, it's hard to say. Feel free to browse this article, and especially the section (you can scroll down to it) that covers other ailments that look like Marek's / cause paralysis. It is probably not a 100% comprehensive list, but it was the best I could do as a layperson. See in particular: "Are there any other diseases that look like Marek's?" https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/the-great-big-giant-mareks-disease-faq.66077/

So I was checking on her and found this on her leg... Is this a sign or a sprain? I don't think she has Marek's because of what I've read. I'm hoping this is just an injury that will heal in time. Does anyone know?
