My name is astrid and I am thinking of getting chickens,(specifically buffs). I am looking for good coops on Craigslist and I think I have found one! I am looking for advice, suggestions and tips

Pictures are good too! I live in ladner, delta B.C. And it is mostly rainy

I already have a dog (well kinda.......)she is a little chiwahua and is so cute!!! Any tips of your own though?

I heard that you have to dig a trench 1 foot or deeper and then have to put your chicken wire into it and burry. Do I have to do this even if I have wire on the bottom of run?
