my chicken stopped laying eggs!

two weeks ago i bought a POL bantam chicken and for the first two days it layed an egg. But after that it stopped. could anyone tell me why?

could be stress due to the new environment. Hens usually stop laying for a while until they are settled in. how long it lasts depends on the chicken.

Sometimes they'll take short (or long) breaks for different reasons, including stress, weather, and health. One thing to look out for is the comb getting pale or smaller. That's when you should worry.
