My chicken was attacked by the flock. Straining to poop almost three weeks latter?

I'd say at this point the struggle pooping is 100% due to the pecking. Gave her a little rinse off with some soap and water in the sink this evening. There was some bleeding. After in the tote I sprayed some Vetricyn and was putting on some neosporin around her cloaca when some scabs easily came off. Some more bleeding. Gross pictures attached! First pic is after her soapy rinse off. Second pic is after spraying vetrecyn and applying neosporin with a q-tip and the scabs fell off. Wondering if I should still be dosing her with baby aspirin for pain?

Her cloaca would deffinately have an "out of order" sign on it right now. Yes, definately packed all around her vent. Not sure there is anything to do other than spray with Vetrecyn and apply neosporin.

Any idea how long to heal it ever? It's been a more than a month and she struggles to poop every time. I'm affraid she is going to wind up with a vent prolapse.

I am sorry that your hen has suffered a vent injury from pecking. Vent pecking may lead to damaged tissue and later, cannibalism. Once they see red from blood, or perhaps a partial prolapse, they will join in pecking. Some hens may also get some damage from laying too large of eggs. Many times they will get a build up of hard droppings or white urates inside the vent opening. Sometimes in those cases it helps to lubricate the vent and use a gloved finger to dig out any hard material if there is any there. Hopefully with time her vent will heal. I don’t know if you are giving her a warm shallow soak (with Epsom salts or a TB of salt per gallon of water )to her vent daily, but that may help in healing. Just get the vent area and legs wet, and dry her thoroughly. If her droppings are firm or hard, I would give her a tsp of chilled coconut oil daily to peck at and to soften them.

Thanks Eggcessive, I'm doing all of that except for the coconut oil. I was doing coconut oil but stoped. I'll restart that. Continuing to treat with vetracyn and neosporin. We'll just keep treating her and hope she gets better.

The weather has been nice so I put her outside on the other side of my fenced run with her food and water. Day two of this after a month inside, she got to be a chicken again. Back inside at night as I don't have a hospital coop yet.

UPDATE: Coming up on 1 1/2 months since the attack. Still crying when she would try and poop. Cloaca looked and smelled awful. I think I finally figured it out. It's vent gleet. Started treating with Miconazol 7 (Monostat 7). Shes been given her first dose, I'll treat until the yeast infection is gone. I really hope this is it for her.

UPDATE: She has sour crop. Treating with Miconazol 7 orally 2 X daily. Her crop was huge tonight and although I was reluctant I did turn her upside down to void all the liquid in her crop. I've taken food and water away for 12 hours. Going to start with boiled egg/plain greek yogurt tommorow.

I’m sorry that she still is having problems. I would not empty her crop again since it could cause her to aspirate on crop contents. What is she eating now? Check the crop first thing in the morning to see if it has emptied some. Has the crop felt squishy and full, or firm/doughy? Azygous has a good article and knowledge about crop disorders. This is it:

Acidified copper sulfate may be used to treat sour crop when other methods have failed. Dosage is 1/4 tsp per gallon of water for 5 days. Here is where you can find it:
