She might just be shocked, by what happened getting run over by a horse that is a lot bigger than you is scary so hopefully she is just in shock and will be on her feet in no time.

I had a chicken that was stomped on by a cow and she broke her leg but I did fix if the best I could and she is still laying!!Sorry havenāt been on in awhile. She is doing well itās been over two weeks. She spends the day free ranging with the other 5 chickens. Funny thing is the last 4 nights when the others go to their coop she jumps into the dog kennel. She tries to keep up with them doesnāt go as far. I will find her and being her back to the flock. Through this whole thing not one of the others have been mean to her. Today on of the other girls laid and egg in the dog kennel. Weird. I think sheāll make it. Not sure sheāll lay eggs again. But sheāll always be part of this family.
