Ha!!! When my mother-in-law saw the first coop, she said, "Is that the Grandmother House?". I said, "No, that's for the chickens." I think she saw where my priorities are very quickly!
Thanks, everyone! I have two little chairs for my kids to sit on and visit. We put big nails on the back of the coop so my kids can hang their chairs when not in use. Just cheap little chairs from Lowes but it works great and the chickens don't mess them up. I can *almost* squeeze my bottom into them!
Part of the fun of having chickens for me is to just sit and watch. I love to see how they interact with each other, who is messing with whom, how they are growing.... my husband doesn't quite understand my fascination, but I'm sure y'all do!!!

When I first got ducks (7 years ago) my husband wasn't too crazy about them because they're "so messy". Within the first month, I caught him outside with a handful of grass he was cutting up with scissors before giving to them
