We had a grey fox steal my chickens and rooster last weekend, I only hope they went to feed the little fox Kits,
Momma was around 2 weeks ago and waited her chance to get them.
I still have my full grown geese, need I worry that they are next?

Geese may be a little large for a grey fox, but if hungry enough a pair might give it a try. I once saw a You Tube video of a pair of Arctic fox catching and caching snow geese goslings. The parents were no match for a pair working together.

I am so sorry! we have fenced off every way we can think of that a creature can enter our property...fenced in the chicken coop...and put 3 different types of locks on the door...raccoons are so smart they can too easily open 1...set traps in the culvert that runs along the back of the property plus it is fenced of from the main property!! anyway so far so good...the traps catch the raccoons before they figure out how to climb the fence...ugh! my heart is broken for you! can you put the goose in the garage or something at night until you can do a little critter proofing?

I have a dog kennel they can go in, but they hate it, Ming and Ping live to roost on my back step at night.
We leave out of town on the weekends and I am going to have to be a tough mom and lock them up for their sake.
